dat-files

The dat-files on your computer store data. The files store names, users, web pages visited and many other types of data. In order to look at these files correctly you need a dat file reader. click here to download Indexdatspy. This program finds all the dat files on your computer and allows you to open and read them. By doing this you are able to see where your computer has been or it's history.

Once you have downloaded the file you must Unzip it first. Now double click on the .exe file and the program will start. It will look like the picture below.
main prog
Now click on file and from the drop down pick find dat files. The program will go and find all files on the computer and return a list of them for you. When it is finished your screen should look something like the picture below.

The file you picked may have nothing in it or may show you something like this one. This dat-file lists 8 web sites that have been visited and the rest of the files most likely show more. You do need to check them all. This way of looking into your computers history is a long drawn out process but it does work as you can see.
